Joel Adams is Research Associate and Professor Emeritus of Computer Science at Calvin University. He is also Computational Research Outreach Director at the University of Kentucky, working as a member of the Support team for the NSF ACCESS program. He has been the lead architect of seven Beowulf clusters, has written numerous technical papers, and has authored several well-regarded textbooks. He is a two-time Fulbright Scholar (Mauritius 1998-99, Iceland 2005), a Jefferson Science Fellow (U.S. Dept of State, 2022) and is an ACM Distinguished Member.
