Ilenia Fronza is an assistant professor in software engineering at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy. She received a M.Sc. degree in Mathematics from the University of Trento, Italy, and a PhD in Computer Science from Free University of Bozen-Bolzano. Her research interests lie in the software engineering field, specifically on software engineering training and education. This endeavor shall provide a better understanding, innovative techniques and tools for teaching software engineering, technology enhanced learning, and product assessment (also in non-conventional programming languages). Ilenia Fronza is guiding the Software Engineering Training Education research group, which aims at proposing educational techniques and tools to improve software development in production and educational ecosystems. Over the years, she has engaged a large number of students and educators in various projects.
