This presentation offers practical guidance and resources for integrating AI education into K-12 classrooms, aligning with CSTA standards and emphasizing the growing importance of AI literacy. We will share updated AI priority areas for K-12 CS, discuss the integration of generative AI across the Big Idea Progression Charts, and showcase innovative AI curriculum and resources, including AI Career Cards designed for middle school students. We will also discuss insights gained from piloting a multi-level AI teacher professional development model in Georgia and Texas. Attendees will gain valuable insights and resources to effectively teach AI concepts and prepare students for an AI-driven future.
